Richard Gere, the struggling writer achieves phenomenal success by playing a hoax on a prestigious publisher by offering to write biography of the legendary billionaire Howard Hughs who is known to be notoriously inaccessible to the general public. Richard Gere gets away with it somehow. This is funny and strange.
